The Power of Compassion and Reason.
Sit back. Think about how you are feeling. Ask yourself why. Ask yourself if something triggered this emotion. Reflect on the facts. Reflect on the feelings. Question how you can manage your emotions healthily. Extract positives from these negative emotions.
Sit forward. Imagine a friend is talking to you. Imagine your friend is feeling all of these emotions. Imagine your friend is in the exact same situation. Imagine your friend is feeling low. Imagine your friend is feeling exactly as you do now.
What would you say to them?
What advice would you give them?
What tips would you offer them?
Now apply this to yourself.
Say it out loud. As if you were talking to your friend.
Say it out loud again, to yourself.
Can you take your own advice?
Do you not deserve the same compassion?
If not, why not?
Because you’re not worthy? It isn’t the same?
Why is it one word for your friend and another for yourself.
Happiness is a human birth right.
