Anxiety is more than just stress. There is so much more to anxiety than many will not realise.
It’s a constant ache in your chest – a pressure which only alleviates itself sometimes. It’s the power to create situations in your mind and truly convince yourself they’re true. It can be the damaging aspect to your personal relationships, as your anxieties circulates them, your negativity can be uncontrollable and changes how you act.
Anxiety holds you back from being exactly who you daydream of being; the person you know you can be.
It’s the biggest burden and one of the most misunderstood disorders.
Anxiety isn’t stress. It’s a life-limiting mental disorder.
It limits your potential and alters what matters into what doesn’t matter.
All you fear and worry comes vividly to life in your mind and alters the reality you’re failing to focus on.
All I can say is please don’t let it win…
I almost find anxiety harder to battle than depression. Anxiety is a habit. You become used to worrying about everything, in fact you worry that if you don’t worry then anything that makes you happy will go. Anxious reasoning. Anxiety carries itself with me all the time. It eats away at my thoughts, suffocates my personality and takes over my actions. It can destroy good things with the fear of ‘what if, what if’ but as my old therapist once said to me – ‘anxiety is like a rocking chair constantly thinking ‘what if, what if’ but you remain in the same place’
Think about it…
